Stop the Boats – July – October 2024

The UK is on schedule to surpass 2023 in total illegal arrivals in 2024. Since the start of July when the labour government won the election very little has changed in terms of illegal arrivals.

The volume of arrivals is strongly corrolated to the weather and nothing more. When the weather is good lots of boats cross the channel.

So far (to the middle of oct 24) 54 people have died trying to make the crossing. This is a tragic loss of life and is caused by the attraction of incentives to come to the UK. Until we stop the incentives, housing, welfare, medical care, free money, etc. we will not solve this problem.

Illegal economic migrants attempting to enter the Uk need to know that if they enter illegally then they will NEVER be given settled status.

While 2022 remains the worst year for illegal migration into the UK, there has been very little progress in terms of reductions in the numbers.

Starmer has removed the Rwanda deterrent (which let’s face it, was never much of a deterrent at all) and there is now a free for all with little effort being put into stopping the constant flow of boats crossing the channel illegally.

28,500 illegals have arrived in 2024 up to the middle of October which is now poised to be the second worst year on record behind 2022 in terms of total numbers and of course the associated cost of providing shelter and provisions for all 28,500 arrivals.

There is little effort being applied to addressing this illegal invasion of economic migrants.
